Plastics Products are surrounding our daily life everywhere. For instance, your food container is made of PS(Polystyrene); Soft drinks bottle is made of PET; Your eyeglasses is made of Polycarbonate; CPU container is made of anti-static APET or PVC. EVA is one of the most popular material used in the medical packaging industry. Commercial packaging tape is made of BOPP. SPG Group is not only provides plastics material but also concentrate on promoting environmental-safe material such as PS, PET or APET. It is everybody's job to keep our earth clean forever.

Source: DuPont Chemical Q&A: Above is a cereal packaging sample with inside plastic bag by using co-extruded
HDPE and EVA film as its outside and inside layer. EVA film is approved by FDA for
directing contact with food or medical devices. Combined with HDPE and EVA can provide
following properties: Lower temperature heat seals; High flow in seal areas; High clarity
and gloss. Ethylene-vinyl acetate (EVA) film is made by copolymer resin. In the packaging
industry, typical processing applications for EVA resin include blown film, extrusion
coated film, cast film, co-extruded film, and blends with other resins. EVA grades are
classified by vinyl acetate content. The vinyl acetate units in the copolymer modify the
basic polyethylene structure and its properties. The addition of vinyl acetate units in
the polyethylene provides these advantages: lower sealing temperature, increased
flexibility, improved optical properties, greater adhesion, and increased impact and
puncture resistance. By varying the vinyl acetate content, molecular weight (melt index),
and additive levels, SPG Group is offering EVA

| PVC (click for Data Sheet and MSDS): rigid and flexible films for antistatic, food, fruit tray, bookbinder, printing, credit card, shower or welding curtain applications. In addition, PVC is comprehensively use in the construction industry (e.g. window frame, door profile, flooring). Even with some environmental concern, it is still one of the most popular plastics in human society. Commercial advantages are low material cost, quick forming time, paints & bonds well and optical clarity. SPG Group provides Klockner compatible quality PVC with very competitive price. | |
| ABS (Acrylonitrile-Butadiene-styrene)/PVC alloy resin: an innovative resin for inject molding applications such as housings of monitor, printer, calculator...etc. It is flame retardancy, excellent weatherability, high impact strength, easy coloring and recyclable. Commercial advantages are quick forming time, high impact strength and paints & bonds well. | |
| APET (Amorphous-PET, click for Data Sheet and MSDS): It is a part of PET family product and has unmatched clarity. Consumers like to see what they are buying and nothing is better than APET in this regard. APET also has good chemical resistance; oil from salads will not breakdown the material. APET has excellent taste and odor properties. APET will work better than other plastic resins in cold temperature applications. It is 100% recyclable and environmentally safe. Most of all, SPG Group offers the best anti-static APET film for electronic automatic packaging with surface resistivity within 109 - 1010 W. | |
| PET (click for Data Sheet): Poly Ethylene Terephthalate is its full name. It is made of Carbon, Oxygen and hydrogen. It is not toxic and has no toxic components. If burned, it will emit CO2 and water with some carbon monoxide. It is the material currently used to manufacture soda and water bottles and it is one of the most recycled plastic resin. Major commercial advantage are quick forming time, paints & bonds well and optical clarity. SPG Group provides one of the best industry bottle grade PET resin for extrusion or blow-molding purpose. | |
| HDPE (High Density Polyethylene): High Density Polyethylene are used for high performance applications where heat resistance and toughness are required. They can be coated onto a wide range of substrates including paperboard, cellophane, polyester and other plastic films, metal foil, fabrics (both natural and manmade) and glass fiber. They offer an excellent balance of properties including low neck-in, good drawdown, edge stability, chill roll release and excellent adhesion to substrates. Other desirable features include pinhole-free coatings, good grease resistance, excellent printing characteristics, low water vapor transmission rates, low sealing temperatures and good seal strength. | |
| PS: Poly Styrene is a water-white thermoplastic produced by the polymerization of styrene(ethyl benzene). The electrical insulating properties of polystyrene are outstanding, and the material is relatively unaffected by moisture. Polystyrene is one of the most popular material that meets stringent US FDA standards for use in food contact packaging and is safe for consumers. Health organization encourage the use of single-use food service products, including polystyrene, because they provide increased food safety. Therefore, most of fast food coffee cup and food container is made of by PS. |
